GALAXY sets new 3DMark world records with GTX 780 Ti HOF V20, the first GK110 GPU to reach 2GHz



Galaxy Microsystems, a leading manufacturer of the world’s highest performing graphics cards, in collaboration with renowned overclocker Mad Tse, achieved all new 3DMark world records with the soon-to-be-released GALAXY GeForce GTX 780 Ti HOF V20.

 

The GALAXY GeForce GTX 780 Ti HOF V20’s design is based on the award-winning GALAXY GeForce GTX 780 Ti HOF and is developed with a singular mindset and purpose: create the best hardware possible and crush world records. Superior 16-phase digital power delivery for the GPU and 3-phase memory power are only part of what makes the GALAXY GeForce GTX 780 Ti HOF V20 one of the most sophisticated graphics cards to-date.

 

Mad Tse set new records on both 3DMark Fire Strike and Fire Strike Extreme (single GPU) benchmarks using a GALAXY GeForce GTX 780 Ti HOF V20 ES (Engineering Sample). Fire Strike Extreme reached a record-high score of 8623, beating the previous top score by almost 200 points. The LN2-cooled GTX 780 Ti HOF V20 reached a core clock of 2000MHz, making it the first GK110 based card and one of very few graphics cards to ever to break the 2GHz barrier.

 

The new 3DMark world records are proof of GALAXY’s endless pursuit of absolute performance.
